Mad Max’s Fight Team is a real MMA program run by professional MMA fighters. No prior experience is required; we will teach you MMA-specific techniques that incorporate aspects of wrestling, boxing, Muay Thai, Karate, and jiu-jitsu.
Max Metzgar created his program out of a need for a legitimate MMA program in Columbus. “There’s just not a place that feels like they’re doing it the right way, not like the guys in Vegas or Dagestan.”
This is not a class that you go to; this is a team that you are a part of. As with any team, accountability, structure, and systemization are essential and fundamental. We take pride in knowing that we are the most professionally run MMA program in Columbus.
Your membership gives you access to our team’s practices, as well as your personalized, periodized strength and conditioning routine. We practice 12 times per month in the morning. Our training sessions are 90 minutes long and are broken down into grappling days, striking days, and sparring days.
